Yuning Hong
Professor & ARC Future Fellow
Yuning obtained her PhD from HKUST under the mentorship of Prof Ben Zhong Tang. She then held positions including as a postdoctoral researcher at Dartmouth College, a Research Assistant Professor at HKUST, and a McKenzie Fellow at The University of Melbourne. Yuning joined La Trobe Institute for Molecular Science (LIMS) in late 2016, where she currently holds the position of Professor & ARC Future Fellow. She was awarded an ARC DECRA fellowship (2017-2020) and has received many prestigious awards including the recent McAulay-Hope Prize for Original Biophysics and the Le Fèvre Medal for outstanding basic research in chemistry from Australian Academy of Science.
